Privacy notice for l4is.ai

This site is the public website of Level Four. This notice says what we count when you visit it, what we do not, and who handles it.

Effective October 23, 2026.

What we count

We count how the site is used, without knowing who you are:

  • which pages are viewed, and how often;
  • the website that sent you here, or a short tag on a link we published;
  • your country, which our hosting provider reports to us, and whether you are on a phone, a tablet or a desktop;
  • how long a blog post stays on your screen, and how far a video plays;
  • when the study is downloaded, with the country and the name of the network the download came from.

What we do not collect

We set no cookies and store nothing in your browser. We keep no IP address, no name, no email address and no identifier that links one visit to another, and we cannot tell whether two page views came from the same person. The study is free to download and asks for nothing.

A note on networks

The name of the network a download came from is the company that runs it. It names an employer only when someone is on their employer’s own network. At home, on a phone or on a VPN it names an internet provider or a VPN service instead. We do not try to find out who you are.

Who handles it

Cloudflare hosts this site and answers every request to it, so Cloudflare sees each request, including the address it came from, in the course of delivering the page, and keeps its own records under its own terms. Our counts are kept in our own Cloudflare account. We use no other service, and we send your visit to no one else.

How long we keep it

Individual counts are kept for 13 months. After that only monthly totals remain.

Your choice

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we count nothing from your visit. You can also block the one small script file this site loads from its own address; the site works the same without it.
